Edition of artistic customization and finishing: 14/20 — 2025. Who is Pope? Pope, cofounder of the AMA collective, develops a singular artistic universe carried by a visual arts practice since childhood, a high standard for detail, and careful visual research. Through sculptures, paintings, and installations, he draws inspiration from photography, urban landscapes, and scenes of daily life, with a sensitive and awed gaze, attentive as much to simplicity as to the complexity of the world around him. Pope mainly draws inspiration from the world around him but also from streams of renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name a few. Whether it’s a gift, a memory, or your personal contemporary art collection, you’ll surely find your favorite piece thanks to the diversity of our works. Indeed, Pope pursues his urban art passion through street art and pop art creations (limited or not) addressing a broad spectrum of themes such as cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum), the dollar, money, gold, wealth, the sex industry, drug abuse, luxury and haute couture brands, the world of comics and video games, the pharmaceutical industry and medicines, recycling and upcycling, agro-food and fashion products (sports, sneakers...). Brands guide our choices and often our lives without us realizing it. Aware of this impact, Pope likes to mischievously twist labels such as Louis Vuitton (LV), Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Rolex, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Supreme, Obey, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG, Mercedes, Nike (Air Jordan), Adidas (Stan Smith), Coca Cola, Pepsi, Marvel and Avengers (Batman, Joker, Superman...), Disney (Mickey, Scrooge McDuck...), Nintendo, Sega, Tintin, Lego, Pokemon, Vans and many others. Dear bidders, our collective makes every effort to ensure that all information necessary to accurately assess the lot is clearly detailed in the listing: dimensions, weight, description, and photos... After the sale, no unjustified claims will be considered. Thank you for your understanding.
