A sculpture produced for commercial purposes, hand-retouched by the artist Pope using a mixed technique combining airbrush painting, graphic customization on premium polymer vinyl designed and precisely cut, manual application and artisanal integration of decorative elements for a neat and durable finish. Who is Pope? Pope, co-founder of the AMA collective, develops a singular artistic universe powered by a lifelong practice of the visual arts, an exacting eye for detail and meticulous visual research. Through sculptures, paintings and installations, he draws inspiration from photography, urban landscapes and everyday scenes, with a sensitive and wonder-filled gaze, attentive both to simplicity and to the complexity of the world around him. Pope mainly draws inspiration from the world around him but also from influential art movements and renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name just a few. Whether for a gift, a memento or your own collection of contemporary art, you will surely find a piece you love given the diversity of our works. Indeed, Pope pursues his passion for urban art through street art and pop art (limited or open edition), covering a wide range of themes such as cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum), the dollar, money, gold, wealth, the sex industry, drug-related harms, luxury fashion brands, the world of comics and video games, the pharmaceutical industry and medicines, recycling and upcycling, food and fashion industry products (sports, sneakers...). The brands guide our choices and often our lives without us realizing it. Aware of this impact, Pope enjoys playfully reappropriating labels such as Louis Vuitton (LV), Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Rolex, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Supreme, Obey, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG, Mercedes, Nike (Air Jordan), Adidas (Stan Smith), Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Marvel and Avengers (Batman, Joker, Superman...), Disney (Mickey, Scrooge McDuck...), Nintendo, Sega, Tintin, Lego, Pokemon, Vans and many others. Dear bidders, our collective makes every effort to ensure that all information necessary to assess the lot on offer is clearly detailed in the listing: dimensions, weight, description and photos... After the sale, no unfounded claims will be considered. Thank you for your understanding.
