American Fur and Trade Company HBC No. 6 Bear Trap
USA. 1947. This No. 6 is a large grizzly bear trap. Wide jaws have a set of three evenly spaced teeth on each of the non-offset jaws with a double spring composition. Stamped, "AMERICAN FUR AND TRADE COMPANY" on the circumference of the treadle pan and "HBC No. 6" in the centre of the treadle pan. Stamped "1947" below pan.
