From our selection of collectible minerals we propose an elegant group of Amethyst crystals with scepter and Chalcedony from the Capurru Quarry in Osilo, Sardinia. In addition, it is characterized by deep purple scepter crystals that rise from a lighter, transparent base, in association with delicate masses of white-cream Chalcedony that embellish the matrix, with good transparency and a waxy luster of the terminations, elements that increase its aesthetic value and mineralogical importance. The specimen stands out for the quality of crystallization and for the overall aesthetic balance, with features that enhance its natural structure and visual impact. The purple color of Amethyst is due to traces of iron present in the quartz crystal lattice, activated by natural radiation during its geological formation. The scepter habit, well visible in this specimen, originates when a new quartz crystal grows around a pre-existing stalk in a second growth phase, often under chemico-physical conditions different from the first. Sardinia, and in particular the Osilo area in Sassari, is known among collectors for amethyst finds in volcanic and vein contexts. This is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, also in the field of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species. All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, save for very rare exceptions always indicated in the description. The photographs are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight tonal variations may occur depending on the device or ambient light. Shipping is carried out via reliable express couriers with fast delivery (in many cases 1-2 working days in Europe), tracked and insured shipment and professional and safe packaging, as confirmed by customer reviews.
