This extraordinary Ammolite ring captivates with its intense play of color and the fascinating history of the material. The teardrop-shaped stone displays luminous blue, turquoise, and green tones that reveal new nuances as light and viewing angles change. Ammolite – the shimmering beauty of the ammonite Ammolite is a special organic jewelry material, made from the preserved iridescent shell layer of fossil ammonites. These long-extinct marine creatures lived in the oceans millions of years ago. The characteristic color play of Ammolite arises from its fine stratification: incident light is refracted and creates the vivid, shimmering colors. Especially impressive on this exemplar are the rich blue and turquoise tones, accompanied by bright green accents. Unique natural structures The visible lines and fine textures within the stone give Ammolite an almost mosaic-like appearance. They are part of its individual character and make each piece of jewelry a true one-off. The elegant drop shape presents the color play particularly nicely. The light setting provides a calm contrast and lets the intense colors of the Ammolite stand clearly in the foreground. Traditionally, Ammolite is associated with change, vitality, harmony, and positive energy. At the same time, its fossil formation history makes it a fascinating connection between natural history and jewelry art. An exceptional Ammolite ring with fossil ammonite – luminous, mysterious, and unique. A captivating piece of jewelry that makes millions of years of natural history visible in an intense color play.
