AN 1897 PATTERN SWORD AND SCABBARD AND A GEORGE V COURT SWORD. A George VI 1897 Officers sword with an 82cm pointed unsharpened blade with etched decoration including Royal Cypher. With a three-quarter basket hilt with turned down inner edge and pierced scrolling decoration with George VI Monogram and crown, wire bound shagreen grip and domed pommel. In brown leather service scabbard and leather travelling cover. 98.5 cm overall. With a George V Court sword and scabbard, 97 cm.
