An 18k white gold diamond and emerald brooch made from a former clasp. Designed as a stylised hydrangea blossom, set with 29 old-cut diamonds (total approx. 1.8 ct, J/K, SI), 28 brilliant-cut diamonds (total approx. 1.22 ct, J/K, SI), two 8/8-cut diamonds and a rectangular emerald of approx. 0.60 ct. Former necklace clasp with integrated catch, finely pierced backing. Hallmarks: Fineness 750. 3.30 x 3.45 cm. Weight 19.28 g. 1970s.
