An Elgin 14k gold pocket watch, c. 1887 Movement no.: 15124229 Case no.: 188257 The off-white dial with gold leaf arabic hours and black spade hands, subsidiary second dial within ornate engraved 14k gold case containing an Elgin National 17 jewel manual movement; case width: 1 7/8 in; 87.50 gross grams. From the collection of John Seaman, acquired over more than 60 years through authorized dealers and private acquisitions in the United States and reputable dealers around the world, then by descent to the present owner, his widow, Ruth Seaman.
