An Italian 18k gold oxydized silver chrysoberyl cabochon and rose-cut fancy diamond Moretto brooch. Head carved from black amber. Textured bust, turban and earrings decorated with applied twisted wire and set with chrysoberyl cabochons and rose-cut diamonds. Floral openwork and engraved decoration to the reverse. Hinged brooch fitting with double pin. Hallmarks: Italian fineness 750, origin mark “225 VE”. Hand-engraved signature “Nardi”, numbered 24-2013. Height 7.7 cm. Weight 42.67 g.
