AN UNUSUAL DIVISION ONE UNDER GLASS BUTTON

1 Large early 18th century reverse painted glass example. This is one of those buttons that are considered the earliest of the 18th century buttons that were crafted. Typically we see these reverse hand painted pattern examples over colored foil, this back foil background behind the silver reverse painted snowflake is quite unusual. We consider this example what one might call understated beauty. Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4".
