Old manual mechanical BEM counter with four digits, allowing counting from 0000 to 9999. The device has a counting mechanism with two contact rods, an upper dial, and engraved indicators with arrows on the housing. Professional instrument intended for mechanical counting, probably used in an industrial, technical, or workshop setting. The counter is kept in its original blue case, inside which there is an old label from Maison Noël in Angers, presumably the distributor or supplier of the device. Construction in metal with a black housing, mechanical numeric rollers and metal components. Shows signs of use and a patina consistent with its age. Estimated manufacture: mid-20th century, around 1940-1960.
