All auctions / Asian Art / Ancient Chinese, Ming dynasty Ceramic Funerary model - 15 cm (No reserve price)
An antique tomb statue from the Ming dynasty (1368-1643). This represents an official with a stele in his hands. The figure is very well preserved, without defects such as cracks or repairs. Typical sancai glaze. Green aubergine, and yellow. As you can see in the photos, at some point an exhibition case has been made for the statue, to view it and keep it safe. The box itself looks like the Victorian era. Height: 15 cm.
