Interesting bronze ornamental plaque, nearly square in shape, characterized by its solid construction, its incised geometric decoration, and its extraordinarily attractive archaeological patina in intense green and bluish tones. The obverse presents a composition of fine cross-cut diagonal lines that form geometric motifs arranged around a central raised element. Small circular motifs and surface irregularities are also discernible, giving the piece a singular visual richness. Special interest lies in its reverse, where two robust mounting pivots with widened heads remain, designed to affix it to a support. On the lower edge there are two small metal extensions, possibly related to a complementary fastening system. Due to its construction, it could correspond to a strap or harness fitting, or an equipment element from the Roman period, combining a practical function with geometric ornamentation. The piece stands out for its spectacular natural patina, with abundant deposits of emerald green, turquoise green, and earthy hues, providing a notable archaeological presence. Conservation status: Apparent good structural integrity, preserving the main plate, both rear pivots, and the two lower extensions. It shows mineral concretions, oxidations, and surface wear that have partially affected its decoration. An alluring example of ancient metalwork, particularly attractive for its form, incised decoration, preservation of its fixing elements, and the chromatic richness of its surface.
