Ancient Roman Bronze Ring with Raised Oval Bezel 2nd to...

Roman Empire Bronze Finger Ring with Raised Oval Bezel – 2nd to 4th Century AD A substantial bronze finger ring attributed to the Roman Imperial period, with a broad hoop expanding into solid shoulders beneath a raised oval bezel. The bezel has a plain, nearly flat face and a clearly defined edge, giving the ring a compact and balanced profile. No surviving inscription, engraved motif or stone setting is visible. The surface retains a predominantly green patina, interrupted by darker brown areas, small patches of encrustation and surface wear. The robust hoop and integral oval bezel are compatible with undecorated Bronze-alloy rings of the Roman Imperial period. Material: Bronze Dimensions: 2.2 x 2 cm Weight: 5.18 gr Provenance: Adquired in Germany from an auction house in 2026. We guarantee the authenticity of the pieces, backed by the combined experience of our experts spanning more than 40 years. A Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) will be sent digitally by email.
