Ancient Roman, Empire Bronze Phalera - 30 mm (No reserve price)

Bronze phalera with concentric circles on both sides — Late Roman or Byzantine attribution Interesting circular bronze piece, with both faces ornamented by carefully executed concentric circles and a central raised boss. It highlights the symmetry of its two surfaces, as well as the circular marks of fabrication and its attractive green patina with earthy tones. It presents a configuration compatible with the ancient metallic weights used in commercial activities and weighing systems.
