The French designer André Dubreuil (1951–2022) is considered an exceptional figure in contemporary design. Often described as the 'Poet of Iron,' he combined traditional blacksmithing techniques with an expressive, almost surreal formal language. His work oscillates between Baroque, avant-garde, and a deliberately raw, experimental style, which in the 1980s was also influenced by the London underground scene
