Andrea Loria (1963) - Il bosco sospeso

Oil painting on canvas from a collection. Hand-signed by the contemporary artist Andrea Loria and bearing the Gallery stamp. Title: The Suspended Forest Dimensions: 50x70 cm Year: 2024 Andrea Loria is an Italian painter whose work develops around the landscape as a visual experience and memory. His works arise from the observation of real places, subsequently reworked in the studio through a process of formal synthesis, in which colour and structure become the central elements of the composition. Through textural blocks and chromatic stratifications, Loria builds spaces suspended between figuration and abstraction, where reality is transformed into rhythm, light and atmosphere. His painting is characterized by a balance between gesture and control, maintaining a contemporary dialogue with the European landscape tradition. NB: The work will be shipped in a sturdy tube suitable for shipments. The colours of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colours coming to life on the canvas.
