Title: MICRO MONDI 5 - by Anna Barone Technique: Acrylic and mixed media on canvas Dimensions: 100 × 70 cm once mounted on stretcher Series: MICRO MONDI CANVAS SERIES Description A composition in tones of green, blue and gray, in which fluid glazes and organic shapes alternate to create a surface rich in depth. The forms seem to surface and dissolve in the material, giving life to an open and mutable image, suspended between abstraction and natural sensibilities. To guarantee maximum safety during transport, the artwork will be shipped rolled in a professional rigid tube. Once received, it is recommended to have it mounted on a stretcher by a trusted framer (thickness about 2 cm / 1.8 cm). Careful and protected shipping. Colors may vary slightly depending on the monitor. Project Statement MICRO MONDI CANVAS SERIES Micro Mondi – Canvas Series is a collection of abstract works exploring the idea of observing matter from an imaginary distance, as through a magnifying lens. Blotches, glazes, pigments and marks evoke cellular structures, organic forms, filaments, microparticles and small ecosystems in constant transformation. The images do not depict a real world, but arise from the intuitive observation of painting and the search for forms that seem to emerge spontaneously from the material. Each canvas thus becomes a small autonomous universe, where color, gesture and sign build an organic and imaginary dimension. Artist Statement My work explores the fluid nature of water and its ability to generate shapes, movement and light. Through the use of watercolors, acrylics, inks and glazes, I translate this energy into abstract visions that bring silence, mystery and introspection. I paint inner landscapes: suspended horizons, reflections, blooms. Images that do not represent real places, but perceptual states teetering between appearance and dissolution. I let the water guide the process, embracing imperfections and fleeting traces as an essential part of the work. My research moves between lightness and matter, keeping an open space for interpretation. Each work is an invitation to slow down and breathe with the eyes. Additional information: Original artwork hand-signed on front and/or back Protected with anti-yellowing varnish. Certificate of authenticity included Condition: excellent Safe and tracked shipping. Professional packaging in a tube (the canvas will be shipped rolled for greater sustainability). The canvas has painted edges with a thickness of 2 cm, therefore the frame on which the painting will be re-mounted must have the same thickness (1.8 cm).
