ANONYMOUS Platinum (850) pocket watch, opaline dial with a guilloché pattern in the center bearing the inscription “Cartier,” smooth around the hour track, black railway-style minute track, Arabic numeral hour markers in black decals, blued hollow-pomme hands. Platinum (850 thousandths) lugs. Clip-on platinum (850 thousandths) case back. Mechanical movement with manual winding via a pendant, anchor escapement. Comes with a platinum chain (850 thousandths) approximately 37 cm long. The watch was in working order at the time of appraisal; however, there is no guarantee of future operation or the condition of the parts. Scratches on the crystal and case. The “Cartier” inscription on the dial is not original. Circa 1920 Diameter 41 mm Gross weight 53.6 g
