Anonymous - Manifesto turistico Winter Sport in Italien –...

Fascinating Italian tourist manifesto dedicated to winter sports and skiing, created to promote Italy to the German-speaking public. Note: This is a later edition, probably from the 1970s. The original composition was devised in the thirties by the celebrated poster artist Franz Lenhart for ENIT – Ente Nazionale Italiano per il Turismo. The spectacular figure of the downhill skier, built with dynamic brushstrokes and strong chromatic contrasts, perfectly communicates speed, energy, and movement. At the bottom you can see the ENIT and winter sports logos, as well as the indications of Officine Grafiche B.V. Levi of Cortina. A poster of great charm, ideal for collectors of Italian tourism graphics, skiing, the Dolomites, Cortina d’Ampezzo, and Art Deco style. Shows normal signs of age, light creases, undulations and small imperfections along the margins, as visible in the photographs. !!!
