Antichità Aldo Mirandola - Bovolone (Verona) - Liquor...

Two-door sideboard with two drawers on cabriole legs featuring neoclassical marquetry in Maggiolini style – Cabinet on stand, marquetry inlay – Italy, mid-20th century Elegant two-door, two-drawer sideboard, century-made, resting on tall rococo-style cabriole legs. The decoration is realized in light-wood inlays on a dark background, in Maggiolini style, following the Neoclassical inlay tradition. The two doors have central veneers in burr wood, framed by fillets and a slim dotted border. All around, motifs of candelabra, scrolls, urns, and foliage unfold. The inlay continues on the sides, on the two drawers, on the shaped apron (with a large central flowering urn and tendrils), and on the legs, which bear delicate floral sprigs. The top is molded with a broken-profile cornice. Interior: compartment with two adjustable wooden shelves and a light oak-lined bottom. Under the doors, two drawers with pierced-brass rosette handles. Locking with key, blue tassel included. Provenance The piece has belonged to the same family since the 1960s and was purchased from the antique dealer Aldo Mirandola of Bovolone (Verona). Conditions Fully restored in 2019. Excellent overall condition, with a glossy finish. Notable are slight signs of time and use visible in the photos, especially on the back (rear panel and lower crosspiece) and small marks on some parts of the legs. The doors and drawers operate smoothly. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description.
