Antique Art Nouveau / Liberty Wall-Mounted Coat Rack – Early 20th Century A charming and beautifully preserved antique wall-mounted coat rack, dating approximately to 1900–1925, featuring a warm pinewood backplate and two remarkable decorative iron hooks with distinctive sculptural detailing. The elegantly shaped metal fittings, with their elongated flowing curves and unusual ornamental backplates, reflect the decorative influence of the Art Nouveau / Liberty movement. Particularly fascinating are the two decorative metal mounts, featuring what appears to be a stylised human face or theatrical mask, adding an intriguing artistic dimension to this functional antique. Each hook features a gracefully elongated upper loop and a beautifully curved lower double hook, combining practical functionality with striking decorative appeal.
