Descriptio Antique Thangka “Syamatara” painted on canvas, depicting Green Tara in the center, surrounded by Buddhist deities and attendants. The main figure, Green Tara, is seated in a reclining posture on a lotus, adorned with a pink mandorla and ritual jewelry. Around her are distributed eight other manifestations of Tara in cartouches, accompanied by attendants and secondary deities. The original colors (greens, pinks, and oranges) are preserved despite wear and minor alterations due to age: surface craquelure, traces of dampness, and visible darkening. Antique yellow silk brocade border with cloud motifs. Antique bronze suspension ring in the shape of a mushroom, symbolizing longevity. Tibet, 18th century. Painting: 75 x 45 cm; frame: 94 x 66 cm.
