An interesting feature is the six-character iron-red seal mark within a square border on the underside, executed in traditional Chinese seal script. The teapot is complete with its original porcelain lid, a desirable feature for collectors of antique Chinese teaware. Condition: Excellent antique condition, with natural signs of age and use, including some surface wear and discolouration around the foot rim, opening and lid. The metal handle displays a natural aged patina. Complete with its original porcelain lid.
