This is an antique cocktail cabinet. An English, mahogany and cast iron Great Exhibition era drinks stand in Egyptian revival taste, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850. This is a highly distinctive antique cocktail cabinet, with a period revival interest of Egyptian iconography accentuating the casework in a pleasingly original, and unusual manner. Typical of the expressive craftsmanship surrounding the Great Exhibition of 1851, this cabinet is a rare and endearing example. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
