A striking and authentic Egyptian Revival metal serving tray, dating from circa 1930, featuring an elaborate raised border, richly ornamented handles and a highly detailed central Egyptian-inspired scene. The centre depicts an impressive composition of pharaohs, figures, hieroglyphic motifs and Egyptian architectural elements, executed in characteristic dark blue, terracotta, cream and ochre tones. The surrounding metal frame is richly decorated with raised floral and foliate ornament, while the two large sculptural handles complete the distinctive design. The combination of the Egyptian Revival imagery and the elaborate Art Deco-era ornamentation makes this an exceptional decorative and functional object, particularly appealing to collectors of Egyptian Revival and early 20th-century decorative arts. The tray has a beautiful aged appearance with natural patina and visible age-related wear, consistent with its age and adding to its character. Please study the photographs carefully for the overall condition and details. Period: circa 1930 Style: Egyptian Revival / Art Deco Material: Metal Condition: Good antique condition with visible age-related wear and patina. The item will be carefully packaged and securely shipped with Track & Trace.
