Splendid and nostalgic edition of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's timeless masterpiece, The Little Prince, printed on the presses of Société Nouvelle des Imprimeries Paul Dupont in Clichy for Éditions Gallimard. This copy carries notable historical and collectible interest: its print completion is precisely dated October 28, 1975 (edition number 20479, printing number 10188) with a legal deposit set for the fourth quarter of 1975. The complete volume (93 pages of text) includes all of the author's original watercolors and color drawings, faithfully preserving the poetry of the 1946 first edition. At the end of the work is the complete catalog of Saint-Exupéry's works published at the time, notably mentioning the posthumous collection Un sens à la vie. Condition: The copy is in a reasonable and authentic reading condition. The soft cover shows signs of normal wear for its age (light edge wear, corners slightly worn). The inner pages are sound, without writing or tears, well secured to the binding, with a pleasant even patina and natural yellowing of the edges that underline its vintage character.
