Antique cast H. 122 mm W. 120 mm A similar model is listed and reproduced under no. A 132, p. 271, in *Barye: Catalogue Raisonné of Sculptures*, by M. Poletti and A. Richarme, Gallimard, Verona, 2000. Signs of wear on the patina Provenance: estate of Amélie Antoinette Houdart, second wife of Antoine-Louis Barye, then passed down through the family.
