Antoine Stevens (1987) - Ciara

Antoine Stevens Ciara 2022 Acrylic and spray on canvas 73 x 91 cm Original work This work depicts a woman turned toward the viewer, her gaze set into the distance. The portrait combines precise features, notably around the eyes and lips, with sketch lines and visible drips. The pink and brown tones, touches of white, and the visible canvas areas give the composition a soft and contemplative atmosphere. Born in 1987, Antoine Stevens is a French artist whose career began in graffiti. He makes the techniques of urban art dialogue with a more classical approach to portraiture. The feminine figure is at the heart of his work, where free gesture and the attention paid to expressions seek to capture an emotion.
