This work has been selected for an exhibition in Spain. Antonio Valenzuela presents a collection of works inspired by the figure of the Cordoban woman, drawing on the aesthetic legacy of Julio Romero de Torres. The series portrays dark-haired Andalusian Gypsy women, highlighting their character, elegance, and expressive strength. Through a warm color palette and carefully controlled lighting, Valenzuela reinterprets the Cordoban pictorial tradition from a contemporary perspective, while respecting classical figuration and the symbolic value of women in Andalusian art.
