Apollo 11 First Footprint NASA Transparency

Original vintage NASA color transparency, NASA 69-HC-687, depicting Buzz Aldrin's bootprint in the lunar soil during the Apollo 11 mission. Taken on July 20, 1969 as part of Aldrin's study of lunar soil mechanics, the footprint became one of the enduring images of humanity's first landing on the Moon. The accompanying original NASA information sheet identifies the image as mission photograph AS11-40-5877 and notes that Aldrin photographed the print after making it with his boot. An evocative original NASA-issued image from one of the defining events of the 20th century. Estimate $200 - $400
