Architectural base - 1930-1940 - Thick bevelled base

A very fine solid octagonal malachite base, measuring circa 13 x 9cm and 3cm thick, weighing 1,25Kg, with beveled edges, carved and polished from a single block of top- grade deep green bull´s eye malachite. Estimated age: Circa 1930-1950. Manufactured in Belgium from materials sourced from the Belgian Congo. Condition: Very good, no significant damages or repairs. Minimal wear. This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
