Argenterie de Laurentiis - Statue

Miniature sculpture in silver sheet of a Volkswagen Beetle – Argenterie de Laurentiis, Naples (20th century) Description: Delightful and detailed miniature sculpture in the shape of a Volkswagen Beetle, ideal as a collectible object or vintage decor accessory. The model is finely enriched with relief floral motifs on the doors and an elegant decorative bow on the roof. The piece comes from the historic Argenterie de Laurentiis of Naples, renowned artisanal workshop active in the heart of the famous Borgo Orefici since 1897, as evidenced by the original paper label still perfectly preserved on the bottom. Technical and construction specifications: Material: External finish in relief-etched silver sheet (gilding/lamination) with an internal structural resin core to ensure stability and a tactile sense of substance. Weight: 70 grams. Finish: Antiqued darkened details in the decorative grooves, designed to enhance the volumes and reliefs of the bodywork. Marks and labels: The original manufacturer’s label is present on the bottom ("Argenterie de Laurentiis - Napoli"). On the brushed-metal bottom, the typical resin filling technical hole is also visible. Dimensions: Length 6.5 cm | Width 3.5 cm | Height 4 cm. Conditions: The piece presents itself in good vintage aesthetic condition, with a beautiful sheen of the metal surface and light, normal signs of time that attest to its authenticity and history. The original sticker on the bottom is intact. Unmissable item for lovers of the mythical "Beetle" Volkswagen or for collectors of silverware and Italian art crafts. Tracked shipping and carefully packed. Visual note: the lot images have been digitally altered to standardize the white background and highlight the object details, yet they remain faithful to the original in every part. The photographed images remain, in any case, an integral and substantial part of the description of the entire lot. Please study them carefully to verify the exact condition of the lot. The item will be packed with maximum care and shipped with tracked service.
