ARGO Vintage ‘90 Console met 84-in-1 Cartridge (Joypads...

Description; Beautiful to add to your vintage console collection. The Argo UT-60 (often written in full as the Agro TV Game System Arcade Action UT-60) is a retro game console clone (Famicom/NES clone) from the late 1990s / early 2000s. The main features of this specific device are: The casing: The system is known for its plastic exterior being an exact replica of the Nintendo 64 (N64) design. The hardware: Inside, it is not an N64 at all, but an 8-bit clone that plays games from the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) / Famicom. The software: Systems like the UT-60 were often sold through TV commercials (such as TellSell) and came with built-in 'multi-game' cartridges (with claims like "9999-in-1" games, often variants of classics like Duck Hunt and Super Mario Bros). Included accessories: The package was typically shipped with two controllers (sometimes resembling PlayStation- or N64-style controllers) and a light gun for shooting games. 1. Included Built-in Games The console was sold at the time with built-in games (often advertised as a "99-in-1" or "84-in-1" selection). These are classic, early NES titles, light hacks of them, or unlicensed bootleg games. Common built-in titles include: [1, 2] Super Mario Bros. Duck Hunt (works with the included Light Gun, when connected to an old CRT/analog television) Contra Galaxian / Galaga Bomberman Battle City (Tank game) [1, 2] 2. Compatible Famicom Cartridges (60-pins) The console features a cartridge slot beneath the lid. Here you can insert 60-pin Famicom cartridges (the Japanese format). Compatible: Original Japanese Famicom games and the well-known "multi-carts" (like the famous yellow cartridges with hundreds of games). Not directly compatible: Original Western NES cartridges (78-pins). They are physically much larger and do not fit unless you use a special 72-to-60 pin adapter. Important notes when playing; Display for the Light Gun: The included plastic 'Light Gun' (the pistol) only works on old CRT televisions (cathode-ray tube). On modern LCD, LED, or OLED televisions, the screen does not register the flash, making games like Duck Hunt unplayable. N64 appearance is misleading: Although the casing and the controllers of the UT-60 closely resemble a Nintendo 64 (N64), the system cannot play N64 games (such as Super Mario 64 or Zelda) at all. The hardware inside is strictly intended for 8-bit NES/Famicom emulation. (This item will be packed with extreme care for shipping. And hoping that postal workers will handle it carefully). With the exception of shipments to islands located outside the Netherlands. Note: Our items are checked for full functionality unless otherwise described. Also, all photos are part of the advertisement, and thus part of your purchase. Regarding all post services, any damage or defects during transit are NOT our responsibility).
