Armchair - Velvet - A pair of lounge armchairs

We are privileged to present this exceptionally rare and captivating pair of Italian Rationalist armchairs. Bearing the unmistakable architectural geometry and restrained elegance characteristic of the era, these chairs are a triumph of form and material. The seating is upholstered in a truly magnificent, top-tier crimson silk velvet. The velvet is supremely soft to the touch and displays a wonderful depth of colour, catching the light beautifully to reveal the subtle texture of the silk. This sumptuous upholstery is perfectly poised atop elegantly tapered wooden legs, which provide a grounding, noble contrast to the rich, voluptuous fabric. Condition: The chairs are presented in exceptionally fine fettle. Structurally robust and entirely sound, they show only the most negligible traces of wear commensurate with their age. The silk velvet remains beautifully preserved, retaining its rich hue and plush texture, ensuring the seating experience is as comfortable as it is historically significant.
