Arnold Spielwaren 1:20 - Model station wagon - DAF "...

Antique tin DAF cab-over front-steer truck "Van Gend & Loos" by Arnold Spiewaren (West Germany) from the 1950s. This rare model is based on the classic DAF "seven-stripper" front-steer trucks that defined the street scene at the time for the historic Dutch transport and forwarding service Van Gend & Loos (part of the NS). The cabin also includes the original plastic driver figure and a rotatable steering wheel (see photo with 2 positions of the steering). At the rear the detachable loose container/load box. The container can be rolled off the chassis via the ingenious retractable and tilting guide system. DAF front-steer A60 chassis style. Material: Tin, partly plastic (wheels, steering wheel and driver). Dating 1957. Height: 15 cm. Length: 27 cm. Weight: 490 grams. Friction motor: flywheel mechanism. Tested and in good working condition. Scale: 1:20.
