Ars Pulchra Tegelen - Nativity scene - Terracotta naive nativity scene

A vintage terra cotta nativity scene fired in red clay with a somewhat naive portrayal of the birth of Jesus. Origin: Ars Pulchra from the famous pottery town of Tegelen, Belgium. Handmade and hand-painted. Period 1950-1960. Marked on the back with a blind stamp of Ars Pulchra Tegelen and the maker's name handwritten in pencil, but not clearly legible. The nativity scene is 24 cm wide, 18 cm high and 6 to 8 cm deep and weighs 2.03 kg. The condition is good with normal wear for its age. A lovely nostalgic Christmas decoration that will look great in a vintage interior. The nativity scene will be well packaged and shipped with tracking. Please note: No shipping outside Europe.
