artdanaux côté Akoun (XXI) - Silhouette organique éclat de couleur

Organic Silhouette — Shards of Color Artist: Julien Danaux – Artdanaux Technique: Oil painting on white paper, cut out and glued onto black paper Dimensions: 35 × 25 cm Framing: Unframed Support: Paper Description of the work This original work by Julien Danaux, known as Artdanaux, explores the representation of the female body through a free, expressive, and contemporary approach. The silhouette is drawn with asymmetrical curves and organic contours. Inside the figure, bold strokes of red, yellow, and black oil paint unfold on a white background, creating a play of contrasts, movement, and texture. The impasto and gestural traces give the surface a tangible presence that brings the painting closer to a sculptural form. The originality of this creation also lies in its concept: the painting is made on white paper, then cut out and glued onto black paper. This process accentuates the silhouette’s outline and creates a strong visual separation between the figure and its environment. At the boundary between figuration and abstraction, the work favors the energy of the gesture, the spontaneity of the material, and the freedom of form over conventional anatomical representation. A distinctive creation that may interest followers of contemporary art, gestural painting, and original figurative explorations.
