Wall panel, long and narrow (No. 2), entirely handmade with dense embroidery and the traditional mirror work technique (Shisha). The piece features a very refined composition: at the center a large circular medallion with flowers and mirrors, surrounded by symmetrical paisley motifs (buta), blooming branches, stylized leaves and decorative elements. The edges are highly elaborate with repeated bands of geometric and floral motifs. The numerous round mirrors reflect light and create a luminous effect typical of Gujarat luxury craftsmanship. Price motivation: This panel has embroidery quality superior to more folk/tribal pieces (simple Banjara or Rabari). The generous dimensions (2 meters in height), the density of work and the classic motifs (paisley + central medallion) make it very decorative and sought-after in the boho/ethnic style. P.S. This piece is part of a rich collection of tapestries of various sizes, all hand-embroidered with different colors, patterns and ages.
