Original mixed media on panel (resembling a heavily textured tempera, fresco, or stuccowork technique) depicting a modern, ethereal interpretation of the Madonna and Child. The Virgin Mary is shown standing on a crescent moon backdrop, painted in soft pastel pinks, deep grays, and heavily textured impasto whites. Signed "PEYROT" in block letters on the lower left of the panel image and bearing a matching metallic artist nameplate affixed to the inner frame. The reverse features a high-quality vintage decorative presentation backing and a framing label from the renowned Madrid workshop "Fábrica de Espejos y Molduras Pablo Viñas" (located at Calle J. de la Quintana, Madrid)
