Set: 1. Extraordinary etching by the Danish CoBrA artist Asger Jorn and 2. Signed & Numbered Set "Modifications" with 3x books: Asger Jorn - Daniel Spoerri – Enrico Baj ITEM 1 : Asger Jorn Original etching on wove paper, from the portfolio “Friedhof der Maulwürfe” (Cemetery of Moles), 1959. Hand-signed and dated lower right in pencil. The portfolio “Friedhof der Maulwürfe” consists of eight original etchings by Asger Jorn that accompany a novel by C. Caspari. It was published by Galerie van de Loo in Munich, which specializes in CoBrA, in a edition of 200 copies. The etchings are hand-signed, but not numbered. Publisher: Galerie van de Loo, Munich. Literature: Dittmar 225. Jorn, Prints 212–219. The composition shows a powerfully abstracted, figurative representation built from free, gestural lines and a multi-layered etching technique. Characteristic of Jorn, human forms merge with spontaneous signs and organic structures, creating an image between figure and abstraction. The lively line work and the deliberately rough surface texture give the etching immediate expressive force and reflect Jorn’s interest in the unconscious, mythology, and spontaneous artistic gesture. The etching is professionally and finely framed, in a mat and set in a handcrafted wooden frame with PLEXIGLAS Optical HC, scratch-resistant and UV-protective. Frame dimensions ca. 54 x 44 cm ITEM 2 : MODIFICATIONS Super Set Signed & Numbered !! With 3 issues by Asger Jorn - Daniel Spoerri – Enrico Baj 3 volumes in the original slipcase.
