Story & Heritage Founded in 1888 in Switzerland, Atlantic is a historic watchmaking brand recognized for its long tradition of producing reliable, elegant and technically accomplished timepieces. Throughout its history, Atlantic has developed a reputation for combining Swiss mechanical expertise with practical functionality and classic European design. The Worldmaster collection is one of the brand's most recognizable and enduring lines, representing Atlantic's commitment to traditional watchmaking and refined aesthetics. Introduced during the 20th century, the Worldmaster name became associated with dependable mechanical watches, elegant dial designs and accessible Swiss craftsmanship. This particular Worldmaster Automatic reflects that heritage through its combination of a textured black dial, gold-tone details and a visible mechanical movement. The exhibition case back offers an additional connection to the art of traditional horology, revealing the intricate mechanical components and the oscillating rotor responsible for winding the movement through the natural motion of the wrist. Its 18-jewel automatic movement, sapphire crystal and classic 40 mm stainless steel case make it an appealing choice for enthusiasts of traditional Swiss mechanical watches. More than a functional timepiece, this Atlantic Worldmaster represents a continuation of over a century of Swiss watchmaking tradition. A refined and characterful Swiss automatic watch, ideal for collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate mechanical craftsmanship, timeless design and the heritage of the Atlantic brand.
