Tintin – « L’Affaire Tournesol » – The Interpreters’ Car 1:24 & The Sanzot Van 1:43 – Lot of 2 vehicles – Moulinsart / Atlas Description Very beautiful set bringing together two different vehicles from the same album, The Calculus Affair, published in 1956. The large 1:24 scale model represents The Interpreters’ Car, used in Borduria when Tintin, Snowy and Captain Haddock are taken in charge by ZEP agents on their arrival in Szohôd. The second model at 1:43 represents The Sanzot Van, the famous red and cream utility vehicle from Sanzot butcher shop. Inspired by a 1950 Volkswagen Transporter, it is reproduced here with Mr. Sanzot driving and Professor Calculus as passenger. The lot thus pairs a large 1:24 reproduction, particularly spectacular for display, with a second vehicle at 1:43, offering two models and two different scenes from the same album in the universe of Hergé.
