Deeply immersed in Japanese culture and the ancient woodblock inking techniques, ATO NAOKI reworks the traditional art of printmaking (ukiyo-e) by incorporating the heroes of his generation. A significant part of his reflection is to link the ancient world and our contemporary era in anachronistic ways until they make sense. His works are now present in art galleries and among many enthusiasts in Europe and Asia.
