Attribué à Heinrich Hoffmann - Case - Vanity powder case...

Vanity powder box / complete dressing-table powder box with its puff. Era / Period: Art Deco (circa 1930). Materials: Molded-pressed glass tinted through the mass in the style of malachite pâte-de-verre or satin Bohemian crystal, still possessing its period rose-pink feather/tissue puff, Central European work (Bohemia / Czechoslovakia), attributed to Heinrich Hoffmann, unsigned, typical of these vanity pieces sold with a splendid high-relief decor depicting a three-masted ship (galleon or caravel) navigating the waves. The side walls of the lid and receptacle bear a sleek architectural line with flat ribs (geometric facets), wonderfully capturing the light. Good overall condition, just a chip on the lid and tiny micro-scratches from use but nothing serious. Best of luck with the bids to all. As with all my items, a good cleaning may be needed to restore the panache they deserve. Please look carefully at the photos that form part of the description. Any damage not mentioned in the text but visible in the photos is considered described. No shipping outside the EU; if you are outside the European Union you may bid on one of my lots, however no claims will be possible in case of transit problems. Given the new import/export regulations to the USA, there will be no shipment to that country anymore. Professional careful shipping, with signature and insurance.

Estimate:£93.55
