Condition Report, Condition Report, The canvas has been laid down onto two boards of panel in vertical alignment. There is a join between the panels which has resulted in a split and losses to the paint of the right side of the painting. There is a further crack to the lower centre of the work, beneath the sitter's cravat. Craquelure and light surface dirt. Not examined under UV light, for a full report please contact the department.
