Auchroisk 2007 15 years old Old Particular - Douglas Laing - b. 2022 - 700ml

The Auchroisk 15 Year Old 2007/2022 Old Particular was bottled for the German importer Bremer Spirituosen Contor and matured for 15 years in a Refill Hogshead. Distillation took place in March 2007 and bottling took place in June 2022. The barrel DL15889 yielded 208 bottles. Bottling was not chill-filtered and uncoloured at 60.6% vol. The single malt convinces! Aroma: Starts with citrus fruits and wood. In addition, buttery pastry aromas and warming spicy notes. Taste: Full-bodied and velvety on the tongue. First creamy toffee notes, caramel and vanilla as well as lemon peel. Then spicier with nutmeg and cloves. Finish: Long-lasting, with residual spicy notes, honey and hints of gingerbread.
