Bronze with a dark brown patina, lost-wax casting. Signed, marked ‘Susse Frères’ and ‘cire perdue’ in cursive. Foundry mark. Height: 26.5 cm – Base width: 25.5 cm – Base depth: 12.3 cm (Minor imperfections, slight wear, horns missing) An engraved plaque attached to the plinth: “Leclercq-Dupire S.A / To Mr Jules Willem / in recognition of 30 years of dedicated service / 1907–1937”
