Australian opal - Bead bracelet - Multicolor play of color

Special bracelet made from Australian opal, composed of round, polished beads of about 8 mm. The beads have a striking dark to almost black appearance, in which under changing lighting small colorful flashes become visible. Depending on the angle, nuances of green, blue, orange and red appear. This contrast between the dark base color and the colorful effect gives the bracelet a distinctive and mysterious look. The color play varies from bead to bead and is most clearly visible under directed light and when the bracelet is moved. The high-gloss polished round beads amplify this optical effect. With a length of about 18 cm and a weight of 17.4 grams, this is a refined piece that is as interesting as a piece of jewelry and for a collector of opal and unusual minerals. Because opal is a natural material, color, transparency, internal structures and the visible color play can differ per bead.
