High in the rugged Atlas Mountains of Morocco, where time seems to move more slowly and ancient traditions are still passed down from mother to daughter, this special Berber rug was hand-woven. For Berber women, making a rug is not a ordinary craft — it is a personal story woven into wool. As the wool is knotted by hand, memories, dreams and symbols of protection are incorporated into the design. Therefore, every authentic Berber rug is unique and carries a soul you won’t find in mass production. This rug immediately stands out with its powerful and vibrant colors. Warm shades of red, terracotta, cream and deep accents of blue and black form together an expressive and almost artistic whole. The abstract symbols and patterns reference traditional Amazigh (Berber) motifs that signify life, protection, family, and harmony with nature. With its generous size of 298 × 200 cm, this rug has an impressive presence. It is not just a floor covering, but a statement piece — a work of art that adds warmth, character and authenticity to any space. Perfect for a stylish living room, loft, or interior where natural materials and worldly influences meet. When you bring this rug into your home, you’re not only bringing a beautiful piece of wool, but also a piece of culture, history, and human craftsmanship from the Atlas Mountains.
